About The Roe Group

During its half-century of growth, the diverse group of sixteen companies which make up the Roe Group of Companies has been an important and progressive part of the social fabric of Belize. The Group's commitment to the communities it serves has set a very high standard of corporate responsibility. Many charities, community organizations and community causes are able to provide much needed services as a result of the personal and financial involvement of its companies and its employees. Scores of management people and rank and file employees can be found contributing their time and talent to organizations like Scouting, Rotary Clubs, Orphanages, Salvation Army, Youth Sports and many more. The Group has also shown its commitment to Belize's environment by setting aside several thousand acres of its land in the country's unique Mountain Pine Ridge area as a nature reserve.

Today, the Group is a national leader in employee training, educational benefits, deferred compensation plans, employee insurance programs and internal Human Resource development. Much of the training has been performed by internationally recognized trainers and facilitators from the United States and the United Kingdom. This dedication to training and Human Resource development has been rewarded with an ever-growing professionalism in the Roe management ranks and national acknowledgement of the standards being set by the Group.

It is the collective DNA of the four Roe brothers who own the Group and the management teams who manage the various businesses within the Group. Unique among business groups in Belize is the Group's recruitment of an impressive list of "outside" board members to sit on each company's Board of Directors and lends their expertise and advice in such diverse areas as finance, tourism, manufacturing and marketing.

History of the development of the Roe Group of Companies:

A humble start with the purchase of a defunct Insurance agency was followed by investments in Window Manufacturing, Tobacco, Pharmaceuticals and a Local airline.
